JA Our Nation® introduces students to essential aspects of our nation’s economy, skill development, career exploration, and community involvement. Through hands-on games and activities, students will discover how their skills and actions contribute to their own success and to the economy.
JA Our Community® immerses students in the daily life of their community the people who work there, the money decisions they make, the flow of the community’s economy, and the importance of being involved and responsible community members.
JA Marketing Principles® 1 is a one-semester teacher-led course that introduces high school students to marketing and some basic marketing techniques. JA Job Shadow® is a comprehensive experience that helps students design an individualized career path. Supporting blended as well as self-guided activities, JA Job Shadow provides a design-thinking structure for career exploration. (Grades 9-12) The program includes six 45-minute sessions and two opportunities for site visits with flexible implementation options based on local needs.
JA It’s My Job® (Soft Skills) helps students understand the value of professional communication and soft skills, making them more employable to future employers across multiple career clusters.
JA It’s My Future® offers middle school students practical information to help prepare them for the working world.

While working at #1 Cochran, the team will be running the car dealership. Employees will work together to find car deals, schedule service repairs, and sell an item during the shopping period.
