About Us

Our Purpose: Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy.

Our Mission: Empower young people to own their economic success.

Junior Achievement gives young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future and make smart academic and economic choices. Our corporate and community volunteers deliver relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from kindergarten through high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship.  Today JA reaches nearly 68,000 students in Western PA through some 3,000 local volunteers.
